Top 5 on Friday
An Oscar addition from Music Memoirs this week.
Top 5 songs from the movies :
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (from A Hard Day's Night)
Elvis Costello - She (from Notting Hill)
David Bowie - Golden Years (from A Knight's Tale... it was used so very effectively in that scene)
Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels (from Donnie Darko... once again, used very effectively)
Johnny Depp, Jamie Campbell Bower & Laura Michelle Kelly - Johanna (from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street )
(Yes, I am watching the Oscars now, like a ridiculous fangirl, so I can see [drool] Johnny Depp [/drool] . So sue me.)

V-Day
This makes 3 out of the past 4 years (or is it 4 out of 5 now?) that I've been sick on Valentine's Day.
Just another reason I love the holiday so much. *sarcasm*
Twice, I think, I've gotten sick ON Valentine's Day. Not this year-- I've had something like the flu (but milder, thank God) since Sunday.
Can't I go for more than one month without getting a cold? That's the kicker-- I was sick wth something just like this in December.
But this is the one week out of the year that I'm pretty much guaranteed to get sick.

Computer Rant
I've been on the computer only intermittently this week because I've become too dependent on the laptop, which broke.
Exactly 3 days after the warranty expired. Isn't that just classic?!
I think it's fixed now though. No one is totally sure about that, of course.
My old PC is so many years old, I can't even remember exactly when it was purchased. And while it doesn't always work that well, at least it didn't screw up after less than 1 year!
Now that it's back, I must vow not to spend 6 hours making Sweeney Todd icons. God I love that movie.

Watch "The Young Ones", 80's BBC show, and wish they'd made more than 12 episodes.
Drool over wonderful King of America cover.
Kidnap Elvis AND Justin Lodgey AND Paul to preserve sanity and ward off post-concert depression.
Pretty much try to stay in a constant state of confusion (like Johnny Depp) just because of the expression it leaves on my face.
Protest War
(feeling a little ambitious, are we?)
